Meilensteine - Milestone - Pietre Miliari
80er Jahre Herbert und Rainer Drexler entwickeln die ersten Sperrdifferenziale. 1986 Erster Großauftrag für das Ford Werksteam von Walter Wolf (Wolf Racing Team). Drexler liefert 50 Stk. Hinterachsen für die Weltmeisterschaft und gewinnt 1987 gemeinsam mit Ford diese.
1998 Herbert Drexler beendet seine erfolgreiche Rennkarriere und gründet die Firma Drexler Motorsport. Herbert Drexler fuhr in seiner 30jährigen Karriere unter anderem DTM, FIA GT, DTC, ÖTC, ADAC GT und diverse 24h Rennen.
2000 Die ersten Sperrdifferenziale werden in dem neu gebauten Firmengebäude gefertigt und gebaut. Die Firma hat zu diesem Zeitpunkt drei Mitarbeiter.
2004 Bereits 2004 werden Lager-, Produktions- und Montageflächen angebaut.
2005 Die Firma wird nach ISO9001:2000 zertifiziert. Drexler baut einen eigenen Rennwagen und setzt diesen zur Erprobung bei VLN und 24h-Rennen ein.
2006 Drexler setzt einen BMW M3 E46 GTR beim ersten 24h-Rennen in Dubai ein. Ausfall nach 12h in Führung liegend.
2006 Kooperation mit der Firma Pankl Drivetrain (Kapfenberg) im Bereich Getriebe, Materialentwicklung und Wärmebehandlung. Drexler beginnt Getriebeentwicklung und Fertigung.
2007 Investition in neue Fertigungsmaschinen in Millionenhöhe.
2008 Erreichen der 10-Millionen Umsatzhürde.
2009 Das Unternehmen zählt mehr als 50 Mitarbeiter. Anbau einer neuen Produktionshalle (Abt.Verzahnung). Drexler bietet nun komplette Antriebskonzepte an (Getriebe, Sperrdifferenzial, Antriebswellen, Kupplungswellen, Radnabe, Radträger usw.).

In the 80ies Herbert and Rainer Drexler already developed and modified the
limited slip differentials which were used in their own race cars.
1986 Delivery of 50 rear axles with assembled Drexler Limited Slip Differential to
“Team Wolf Racing “ of Walter Wolf.
1987 Ford Motorsport won the Manufacturers Championship in the Touring Car
Championship (Ford Cosworth Texaco) with the Drexler rear axles.
1998 End of Herbert Drexler´s career as racer. The experience in the drivetrain and transmission sector led to the foundation of the company. Herbert Drexler was driving in his 30 years-lasting career in the following series: DTM, FIA GT, DTC, ÖTC, ADAC GT and numerous 24h-races.
2000 Development and Production of the first limited slip differentials on the own company area with three employees.
2004 Expansion of the production, stock and the assembly area.
2005 Certification according to DIN EN 9001; Assembly of an own racing car, which is used as a test car at VLN and 24h – races.
2006 Start at the 24 h of Dubai with the own race team (BMW M3 E46). Drop out after 12 hours in the leading position.
2006 Collaboration with Pankl Racing Systems (Kapfenberg) in the sectors Gearbox, material development and heat treatment. Drexler starts own gearbox Development and production.
2007 Investing of some million Euros in new machinery
2007 Developing of a torque vectoring system and an active differential
2008 Reaching of 10 millions turn over
2008 Drexler employs more than 50 people. Construction of a new production hall (gearing department)
2009 Drexler produces now complete drivetrain – Kits (Gearbox, limited slip differential, drive shafts, clutch shafts, wheel hubs, wheel carrier, etc.).

2004 Già nel 2004 sono state aggiunte spazi per il magazzino, la produzione e il
montaggio.
2005 La societá viene certificato ISO9001:2000. Drexler costruisce una propria macchina da corsa che va partecipare alle gare del VLN e di durata di 24 ore.
2006 Drexler partecipa con una propria BMW M3 E 46 GTR alla prima 24 ore in
Dubai. Uscita dopo 12 h quando era in testa.
2006 Cooperazione con la società Pankl Drivetrain (Kapfenberg/Austria) per i loro cambi di velocità, sviluppo di materiali e trattamenti termici.
Drexler parte con lo sviluppo e la costruzione di cambi di velocità.
2007 Investimenti di milioni di Euro in nuove macchinari per la produzione.
2008 Si raggiunge un fatturato annuo di 10 milioni di Euro.
2009 La società conta più di 50 collaboratori. Realizzazione di un nuovo capannone (reparto dentatura).
2009 Drexler offre adesso sistemi completi di trasmissione potenza
(cambi, differenziali autobloccanti, semiassi, alberi frizione, mozzi, braccetti
della sospensione ecc.).
